I feel like continuing this journal here rather than starting a new one up above!

I found this in an email from early February

Quote:
A child I work with today left me a picture in my mailbox. It is of a big blue body of water with waves and a sun shining and lots of empty sky. I smiled as it seems to sum up so clearly what my world is like these days. There are so many waves. They come, with all their intensity, and crash or lap upon my being and then they pass with all the calmness and leave me space to rest.

A deeper intimacy with stillness and with unknowing and with trusting is emerging... and most importantly it seems, a strengthened connection with myself and with god/Spirit. Today was one of those powerful days that started with me calling in sick and feeling that I am wrapped in a caccoon. Then I came to learn that my caccoon is supported, and protected... i released a little into that... trusting. Then I came to learn that my caccoon is also surrounded by love and light.

May I continue to experience... practice remembering and recognizing how supported, protected and embraced with love and light this vulnerable being emerging from the cacoon is.
